Corrections:

Over Christmas break, I went to watch the new Tron Legacy. There were programs and users. In the end, a program and a user got out the portal. The user was the person who got trapped in the computer world's sun. For spars and battles, they use their identity discs and program swords. If they lose their identity disc, they are in trouble. For the challenge of the grid they can use the swords to summon lightcycles.

Yay for science fiction inspiring kids to write and use English skills!

btw, how was that movie? Jeff and never get to the actual theater anymore, so we'll definitely be renting this when it comes out on DVD, but I'm hoping that it was as good as it looked.

The trailer actually gave me goosebumps, but this is coming from someone who loved the first movie in childhood, and owns the DVD.

Katie--I haven't seen either the original or the new version. Jon took the older boys over Christmas, and they all seemed to enjoy it. Of course, it's only the second time my children have been in a movie theatre, so they are hardly seasoned critics.

Well done, Danny.

It had about as much plot as the original movie, or maybe a little less, but it was still a good movie. When I first heard about it being in production, I told the kids all about the original and showed them the trailers as they came out. They were pretty excited to see it. I still hear them making up games based on it every so often.
